Civil ceremony: For booking a date you need to contact a registry office at the municipal office in Vizovice (777 471 172).

Church ceremony: for the ceremony in the chapel just contact the administration of the castle (vizovice@npu.cz)

To perform the wedding ceremony in the premises of the castle Vizovice, it is necessary to conclude a contract on holding the wedding ceremony between one of the engaged couple and the castle administration. Without this contract it is not possible to hold the wedding ceremony in the premises of Vizovice Chateau.

This contract does not require a personal visit of the engaged couple at the chateau. The contract can be prepared on the basis of a written or telephone negotiations and its signatures subsequently secured during a personal visit (if necessary through Czech Post). The contract for the wedding ceremony at SZ Vizovice must be concluded on both sides at least 10 working days before the wedding ceremony.

In order to conclude a contract, the following basic data must be provided to the chateau administration:
name and surname, permanent address, birth number of the fiancé, date of marriage (date, hour, place) agreed with the Vizovice registry office.

This information is received by the chateau administration via e-mail, in exceptional cases by telephone or in person at the chateau building. The contract will then be handed over to the engaged couple in an agreed manner agreed by both parties.

Conditions of the ceremony

The size of the space where wedding ceremonies take place at the chateau in Vizovice is not entirely suitable for large weddings. The conference hall can accommodate a maximum of 65 people (including the engaged couple), the chapel 40.

In the representation hall most wedding guests stand at the ceremony, there are only 8 - 10 seats, so if it is important for you to see the ceremony, we recommend honestly observing the set maximum of people.

There is a strict ban on throwing rice, confetti and other small items throughout the chateau, including the entrance gate. It is forbidden to pollute the interiors and exteriors of the castle in any way. Please do our best to comply with this regulation, because it is not our best to get rid of spilled rice or confetti from the courtyard surface and paving before entering the premises.
